New Jersey Chapter Meeting at Princeton University
Princeton, NJ
February 18, 2010.
Welcome to 2010! The NJ Chapter of CSI would
like to extend a general invitation to all current and past members of
the CSI Princeton Chapter and other design-build-construction related
professionals to join us at our February 18th evening presentation and
to consider becoming an active participant in the CSI NJ Chapter.
Our February 18th program is "The
Lake Champlain Crown Point Bridge"; designed and presented by noted
Structural Engineer, Ted Zoli, VP and Technical Director (Bridges) for
HNTB Corporation. It will be held at Princeton University's
"Prospect House, Library Room" from 5:00pm to 9:00pm; Dinner
begins at 6:30 pm and keynote presentation commences at 7:30 pm, sharp. >> more about Ted Zoli

Nightly News Segment
While seats are limited to the first 40
people that register online, we offer this presentation in the Princeton
vicinity with the hope of renewed interest and participation among the
members of the Princeton Chapter.
Please register
online now . The event fee is $30 per person (payable at the door in
cash), which includes your choice of an herb seared chicken breast or
grilled salmon fillet, three-course plated diner with coffee, hot tea,
and iced water. (Cancellations must be received a minimum of 6 days
prior to the event.)
As an EXTRA BONUS, for the remainder of
2010, the NJ Chapter of CSI will offer current and past members of the
CSI Princeton Chapter active participation in the NJ Chapter at no
change in cost from the dues you have already paid or would expect to
pay for the current years' membership in the CSI Princeton Chapter. As
peers in a great national organization, we would rather see you
participate in available programs and events then miss out on the
educational value and camaraderie we and CSI have to offer.
The NJ Chapter frequently conducts joint
programs with AIA Central Chapter, AIA Jersey Shore, The Architects
League of Northern NJ, AIA Newark Suburban, Tri-State Chapter of the NJ
Design-Build Institute of America, and other related professions and
industries at locations throughout central New Jersey, from Morristown
to Red Bank and Newark to the Princeton area.
We also have instituted an Emerging
Professionals Committee; tasked with attracting those recently entering
into the construction-related fields to get involved with CSI. If you
know an individual that fits this description, pass this invitation on.
Come join us. Become active again.
There's always something new to learn.
Signed:
Ruma Som, CSI, CDT, AHC, President
Jim Repka, RA., President Elect
Kathy Monteiro, Membership Committee Chair
