Michael Wolz
Michael Wolz of Del-Sano
Contracting Corp. Earns LEED Accreditation. March
4, 2009, (Union, NJ) – Michael A. J. Wolz, AIA, CSI, CCCA, a
project manager at Del-Sano Contracting Corp. has earned a LEED
(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accreditation, announced
Del-Sano CEO Angelo Del Russo
As
a LEED accredited professional, Wolz will spearhead efforts by the
Del-Sano team to navigate clients through the LEED Green Building rating
system toward their high performance building certification goal as
established by the U.S. Green Building Council. Wolz, who is also
a registered architect and a certified construction contract
administrator, is responsible for managing project budgets,
administrative and engineering controls, client reporting, contract
drawings, sub contractors’ requests, training and field staff for
specific Del-Sano construction projects throughout New Jersey.
Wolz has more than
20 years’ experience in architecture and construction project
management. Prior to joining Del-Sano in October 2008, he
previously served as a construction project manager for The RBA Group in
Parsippany where he oversaw more than $188 million in projects over a
five-year period. He has also held positions with URS Corporation
and the South Orange/Maplewood Board of Education, as well as several
architectural firms in New Jersey.
He earned a BArch
from Pratt Institute School of Architecture and a BA in architectural
history from Syracuse University. He is a member of the American
Institute of Architects (AIA), AIA New Jersey and the New Jersey Chapter
of the Construction Specifications Institute.

completed a project that will be New Jersey’s first Silver LEED
certified luxury residential property, Garden Street Lofts,” said Del
Russo. “Mike’s accreditation is a tremendous asset to clients that
are seeking LEED certification for their projects, as well as to those
that are simply dedicated to sustainable construction at any level, and
augments Del-Sano’s experience with sustainable materials, energy
efficient systems and environmentally-conscious construction
processes.”
