Designing with BIM
Designing with BIM will explore
the power of designing with BIM and the personal strife of modifying our
work process in an effort to enhance our ability to convey design ideas
to clients. This presentation will be looked at on three different
levels;
First: Our innate natural inability
to easily change and accept change willingly. "I know AutoCad,
it works for me, if it isn't broke don't fix it".
Second: Do you jump in the deep end of
the BIM pool head first or tip toe your way in through the shallow end.
Third: An overview of a recent project
being designed and produced with BIM. We will have an open discussion
throughout the presentation in an effort to learn from each other's
experiences. BIM has the ability to enhance our building designs,
produce projects faster, and achieve client buy-in much earlier in the
design process.
